A great night's entertainment on offer on Sunday
THE football season may have finished but there is still plenty of entertainment at the Globe Arena over the next few weeks.
The fun kicks off on Sunday, May 5th, with a Stars in Their Eyes family evening in aid of Jim Bentley's testimonial.
All participants are either fans or staff at the club who you will see in a totally different light. All fans are welcome on what should be a memorable night.
Admission is just £5 for adults and free for accompanied children.
THE Shrimps are holding a series of special retro evenings of entertainment in the close season.
The series kicks off on Friday 17th May with ‘A Night of the 60’s’ featuring tribute act Just John & Paul, a fantastic Beatles tribute act who can be seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7kBxX7wNJ0. They will be supported on the night by our very own DJ Steve Middlesbrough. Tickets are £10 p/person in advance and include 2 FREE DRINKS VOUCHERS. This will be followed by ‘A Nights of the 70’s’ on Friday 19th July with Bootleg Bowie as David Bowie, ‘A Night of the 80’s’ on Friday 16th August with Dean R as Freddie Mercury and rounded off with ‘A Night of the 90’s’ with JK as Robbie Williams.
