Wembley kids make CD

Boss helps St Luke's release charity track

ST Luke’s C.E. Primary School from Slyne-with-Hest are releasing a charity CD this week, May.thin advance of their historic visit to play at Wembley Stadium in the n power Football League Kids’ Cup Final this Saturday 18

 More than 30 pupils from the school recently visited The Bay’s studios in Lancaster to record their song, a specially penned anthem “We’re On Our Way to Wembley!” based on the classic “Camptown Races”.  St Luke’s are representing Morecambe F.C. in the n power Football League Kids’ Cup and Morecambe manager, Jim Bentley, came along to the recording to give the pupils the club’s support . He even ended up laying down some vocals himself!

 The CD, supported by Lancaster’s new 3-1-5 Health Club, is released this week and available direct from the school and The Bay's reception during office hours.

All proceeds from the sale are going to local charity, Unique Kidz and Co. The pupils’ performance was filmed and the official video is also included on the CD. It can also be viewed on The Bay’s official You Tube site at.http://www.youtube.com/thebayofficial
