McCready to return for Reserves

4 November 2013

Defender on comeback trail

CHRIS McCready starts his comeback after his recent shoulder injury tomorrow afternoon when he will line up for the Reserves against Oldham.
The defender, who has been out of action for a couple of months, will feature alongside Marcus Marshall for Stewart Drummond's side in a game that kicks off at 1pm at the Latics Chapel Road Training Ground.
Chris Doyle is also set to return to action but there will be no place for Jack Redshaw who is feeling the after effects of his comeback at Burton on Saturday.
Boss Jim Bentley said: "It will be great to see Chris back in action and Marcus Marshall step up his fitness but Jack is feeling a slight pain and we will not risk him.
"It was great to see him back in the first team squad on Saturday but we will definitely monitor him closely and make sure we look after him.''
