Defender fractures collar bone

SHRIMPS' defender Chris McCready is to have an operation after suffering multiple fractures of his collar bone in the game against Plymouth on Saturday.
The defender fell awkwardly in a challenge with Marvin Morgan in the first half and was forced to go straight to hospital after the painful injury.
Shrimps' physio Simon Farnworth said: "It was a nasty injury to get and Chris was in a great deal of pain.
"He was taken straight to hospital and is now awaiting an operation to insert a plate into the area. Thankfully he received great medical care both at the club and at the hospital which will help his recovery.''
