Striker could be back earlier than expected
MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley has been handed some positive news with striker Jack Redshaw back in light training.
Last season's top scorer has missed the full season so far after injuring a hip in the opening pre season game and was set to be ruled out until nexyt year.
But with Redshaw stepping up his rehabilitation he could be back earlier than expected.
Bentley said: “Jack is starting light jogging this week.
“It’s a massive boost for us and means he’s ahead of schedule.
“It will be like a new signing coming back.''
“We’re now looking at late November rather than Christmas.''
Chris McCready could also be back at a similar time after his recent shoulder injury.
