When not on business duties, supporting Morecambe or socialising, James and Richard spend their spare time raising money for charities.  Last year James cycled from Riga in Latvia to Southampton (2,720Km) in 19 days, to raise money for the Zoe Challenge, Hope for Justice.  Five years ago Richard completed the Barcelona Bangers to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance.

Gary Taylor is a local business man, who in his younger days played football at Preston North End Junior whites.

He is an Executive Board Member and Director of the Star Community Foundation CIC who hold key business relationships with major Blue Chip finance companies and Government bodies.  The Star Community Foundation bring a bring a wealth of knowledge to developing sports programmes to the children of our future.

Directors and Ambassadors who help achieve the success and the funding element are John Regis MBE and Gold medalist, Brian Robson OBE, Manchester United and England, Ryan Phillips world and British XMA Champion and Emma Pass, GB Basketball player.

The Foundation has become a leading operator within the UK and European sector and see a partnership programme with Morecambe Football Club as a major step forward.  Gary has made a significant list of overseas contacts made during his very successful business career predominantly in security and finance operations.
