Jim Bentley is hoping to bring in a left back on loan
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is hoping to bring in a left back on loan ahead of the Shrimps' trip to Tranmere this weekend.
Bentley has been forced to make the move after Laurence Wilson suffered possible ligament damage in the 2-1 win at Cambridge last Saturday. Wilson is set to see a specialist on Thursday to determine the full extent of his injury.
Bentley said: “We’ll know more about his injury when he sees a specialist but I’m working hard to bring in a left back to replace him because the initial signs are that it doesn’t look good.
"I've made a few enquiries and I hope to have something sorted for the weekend.”
