Pricing for the History Tour games taking place on Sunday 7th September at the Globe Arena announced
Morecambe Football Club has today announced the pricing for the ‘History Tour’ games taking place on Sunday 7thSeptember at the Globe Arena. All net proceeds raised on the day will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK.
Three matches will take place on the day kicking off at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
The Three teams taking part will be a MFC Legends XI player/managed by Jim Bentley; included within Jimbo’s squad will be: Paul Burns, Dave McKearney, Kenny Mayers, Andy Grimshaw, Ian Cain, Wayne Curtis, Paul Rushton, Danny Carlton and other members of the promotion teams of ’95 & ‘07
West Ham Manager Sam Allardyce will manage a Celebrity XI including ex-professionals; Lee Sharpe, Kevin Gallagher, Matt Jansen, Ade Akinbiyi, Luther Blissett, Frank Sinclair & Lancaster FC Manager Darren Peacock. From the cricket world; England 20/20 star Jade Dernbach will show his football skills. We are also delighted that Lewis Bloor from TOWIE has agreed to play and support the Charity.
The third team are extremely special in that they will be the first Chinese registered team to play in England. ‘General’ FAN Zhiyi, the first Chinese National to play in the English Premier League, will player/manage the team made up of ex-professional players and internationals who are visiting Morecambe Football Club to formalise the collaboration between Morecambe FC & Shanghai Clever FC.

All tickets are available from the Morecambe Football Club Shop during normal opening hours.
Family tickets can only be purchased through the Club Shop, proof of age maybe required.
Morecambe Football Club regulars are reminded that this is not an ‘official’ Morecambe FC fixture. As a Charity match there will be no priority given to current ST holders with all available seats sold on a first come first served basis.
Accessible spaces will be available around the ground at the concession price, carers will be given a free ticket.
Some seats will be available to purchase in sections C-1 and C-2 but entry to the Wright & Lord Suite will be limited to Players/Invited Guests/Club Officials only.
All current car park passes will not be valid on the 7thSeptember. Limited parking will be available at the Globe Arena on the day at a cost of £5 per car. All proceeds will go directly to Prostate Cancer UK. Extra parking will be available at Westgate School.
