Shrimps boss Jim Bentley admits he has tough choices to make
SHRIMPS' boss Jim Bentley has admitted that he has a selection nightmare ahead of his side's opening game of the season at Dagenham on Saturday.
Speaking after the weekend draw with Kilmarnock Bentley said he had some tough decisions to make this week before the big kick off.
He said: "It's been a big week for all the lads because they all know there is real competition for places now all over the park.
"Before the Kilmarnock game I was pretty sure what the team was going to be on the opening day but there were some really strong performances all round and I will have a good, long hard look at everything this week.
"We have a deeper pool of players to pick from this season and with everyone but Ryan Edwards likely to be available we’ve got good strength in depth and competition for places so the players have got to be up and at it.''
