Shrimps announce a limited edition football rosette in the teams red/white colours in support for the ‘Eric & Ernie’ Bronze Wall Relief
Morecambe Football Club have today announced that as part of their support for the ‘Eric & Ernie’ Bronze Wall Relief they have taken delivery of a limited edition football rosette in the teams red/white colours. Also depicting an image of Eric Morecambe himself these rosettes are sure to be collector’s items in years to come.
Priced at £5 each and available from the Morecambe FC Club Shop, all net proceeds will go directly to the ‘tribute fund’.
MFC General Manager Mark Dixon commented ‘What a great way to show our support for something that will benefit the town for many years to come. The rosettes were delivered earlier this week and were seen being worn for the first time at the unveiling yesterday.
They are extremely good quality and will make an ideal stocking filler for any ‘shrimps’ fan. We are looking forward to the next two matches with big away support expected and a great atmosphere. I suspect quite a few Luton & Carlisle fans will leave the Globe with these reminders of our football supporting yester years firmly attached to their jackets.’
