Match abandoned after 55 minutes
Morecambe’s trip to Accrington Stanley was abandoned after 55 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch.
Standing water on the Store First Stadium pitch saw the referee James Adcock call the game off with the scoreline at 0-0 and Morecambe down to 10 men after Alex Kenyon’s red card shortly before half-time.
The Shrimps went closest to scoring in the game when Kevin Ellison's flick on hit the post.
Shaun Beeley made his debut at right back for the Shrimps.
