Live the dream for cancer charity

SHRIMPS' fans can Live the dream by leading Jim Bentley's team out to match day glory

Prostate Cancer UK is offering grown-up football fans the chance to run out with their heroes with Shrimps' fans being offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to lead out the ‘Shrimps’ and represent ‘Men United’ at the forthcoming match v Southend Utd on Saturday 8th March.

The partnership between Prostate Cancer UK and The Football League aims to reach over 16 million fans across the terraces, raising awareness of the disease which affects 1 in 8 men sometime in their life and kills over 10,000 men a year.

The lucky football fan will not only have the honour of leading their team out onto hallowed turf before kick-off, the winner will also represent ‘Men United’ in the fight against prostate cancer by putting aside their local football rivalries.

This season for the first time ever, a new super team featuring football managers, players, behind the scenes football staff and fans join arms as  ‘Men United’ to tackle prostate cancer  head on by encouraging men everywhere to wise up to the disease and take action.

To sign for Men United, to win the chance to lead out Morecambe at the Globe Arena and to register for the match day competition visit the sign up page at http://prostatecanceruk.org/lead  by Friday 21st February. Terms and conditions apply.
