Open day at The Globe for the youth setup
There will be an informal open day held at the Globe Arena on Friday 1st August where footballers parents of all age groups from the Morecambe FC development centre can come in and find out more about the opportunities in store for our young aspiring footballers parents. The aim is to let parents know about potential progression routes via the player performance pathway from the development centre. Theres also opportunities to give any feedback they may have on the current system.
First hand information regarding options will be explained and discussed by Head Of Youth Stewart Drummond, Development Manager Michael Stringfellow, Academy Manager Phil Hackney, Futsal Co-ordinator Janet Preston and Lancaster & Morecambe College Head of Academy Ian Jones.
Footballers of all ages and parents are all welcome. The presentation will take place in the Wright and Lord suite from 19:00-21:00. The presentation will focus on the 14-16 age groups although parents of all age groups are welcome.
