Shrimps progression continues

Friday's double session saw the lads put through their paces at Lancaster & Morecambe College in a yoyo test which is devised to monitor each player's fitness individually.
The afternoon session in the swimming pool at 3-1-5 Health Club, taken by Sports Scientist Chris Squirrell, was a high intensity swim, body weight exercise circuit and recovery session.
Saturday's session included some specific runs and went into some possession/fitness-based ball work. The goalkeepers continued to work with Goalkeeper Coach Lee Jones throughout the session, joining up with the rest of the players towards the end.
Shrimps player Andy Wright said: “It’s been tough as expected but I think that's what we all want and what we all need.
“All the lads have come in fitter and stronger than this time last year”
