Bentley says point was deserved

SHRIMPS' boss Jim Bentley said he was delighted with his side's comeback to clinch a draw at Dagenham.
He said: "We knew coming into the game that they were coming off the back of a good win in midweek, they've got loads of legs and are full of youthful enthusiasm.
"I rate them, I think they're an honest side, and I've got a lot of time for the manager.
"He's a good lad and he gets them going, so we knew coming here that it was going to be a tough game.
"I don't think there was much football played, it was quite windy, on a bone-hard pitch, so it was hard to play football.
"But I think both sets of players had a go. It's been a difficult week, the games are coming thick and fast, but I have to say I think it was a poor decision for the penalty which nearly cost us the game, but thankfully it didn't and we got the point we deserved at the end,
"When the chance fell to Mark Hughes I was always confident because he has a good touch and fancies himself as a striker. He scores quite a few in training and took his chance really well.''
