Futsal is an exciting 5-a-side football game and is the fastest growing sport in England. Morecambe FC Community Sports is now recruiting for our next Futsal programme and if you are aged 16-17, this is your chance to sign-up. The course combines academic and practical studies towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to three A Levels), which provides a route to university. Entry requirements are 4 GCSEs or equivalent, at Grade C or above (including maths and English.) You will represent Morecambe in the national Futsal league and receive coaching in the game that has helped hone the skills of Ronaldo, Messi and our own Ryan Williams.
Morecambe’s Futsal team play in the North West League 1 and fixtures take place at the state-of-the-art Leeds Arena. Sky TV covers the league on their Soccer-AM show and their cameras have captured Morecambe in action during the season.
