Scott Davies signs a new agreement keeping him at the Globe until January 3rd
MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley says he is delighted have extended Scott Davies's loan spell.
The goalkeeper, who has been in excellent form for the Shrimps since joining on an original one month loan deal from Fleetwood, has signed a new agreement keeping him at the Globe Arena until January 3rd 2015.
Bentley said: "I'm really pleased that we have managed to keep Scott for another few weeks because he has been outstanding for us so far.
"He made some great saves at Portsmouth on Saturday and has been excellent for us since joining.''
Davies's signing will give Andreas Arestidou time to get fully fit after a recent ankle injury.
Arestidou will began his comeback in the Reserves at Wigan on Tuesday.
