Academy Head leaves Morecambe FC
MORECAMBE'S Academy Head Phil Hackney has left the club.
Phil, who has been with the Shrimps for nearly two years, resigned his position this week and the club have thanked him for his work.
The Shrimps' Director who oversees the academy, Mark Mace, said: "Phil has done an excellent job for the club since he joined and we wish him well for the future.
"He has helped the club establish its Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) programme and provided a solid platform for us to build on.''
Stewart Drummond and Neil Wainwright will oversee the academy programme until new arrangements are made.
