Big celebrity day at The Globe Arena including History Tour

A few ‘details’ for our day here at the Globe Arena this coming Sunday 7th September……

The Globe Bar will be open between 11am – 1pm (MFC Legends XI v Shanghai Clever XI kicks off.

The turnstiles will open from 12pm, tickets are on sale online: https://www.venuetoolbox.com/morecambefc/ASP/bookTickets.asp?homeArea=home&dept=

Tickets can also be purchased from the Club Shop today (Friday) till 6pm then all day tomorrow and indeed on the day.




The 3 matches to be played and approximate kick off times are as follows:

History Tour Matches

MFC Legends XI v Shanghai Clever XI – 1pm

MFC Legends XI v Big Sam’s Celebrity XI – 3pm

Shanghai Clever XI v Big Sam’s Celebrity XI – 5pm

A short trophy presentation will take place following the final match.

Premiership Referee Phil Dowd with officiate all three matches ably assisted by members of the Lancaster & Morecambe Referees society

Entertainment between the matches is being supplied by MORE MUSIC, the MORECAMBE WARBLERS and DANIELLE GREGORY.

Bay Radio’s breakfast presenter DANNY MATTHEWS will be MC for the day

We have Mascots from FRANKIE & BENNY’S, THE BAY as well as our own CHRISTIE THE CAT who will be getting involved with everything. LARA’S LEISURE have supplied a number of bouncy castles and a soft play area for the children to break up the day. Everyone will be able to move freely in and out of the Stadium to see what else is going on.

Once the games are finished people will be free to come and join the all of the Players who have taken part in the day in the Wright & Lord Suite, for photos and autographs.
