Reserves earn battling draw with Shrewsbury at the Globe Arena
THE Shrimps’ Reserves fought out a close 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury at the Globe Arena on Tuesday afternoon.
A game between two young sides saw the Shrimps take the lead through their most experienced player, Padraig Amond, in the 74th minute.
The lead lasted just 10 minutes as the Shrews pulled one back through Dom Smith.
The game was refereed by Premiership official Chris Foy.
