Chris Doyle returns from Chorley loan spell & Ryan Williams trains with Motherwell

YOUNG defender Chris Doyle has returned to the Shrimps after a successful loan spell with Chorley.

Doyle has received rave reviews since joining the Magpies and boss Jim Bentley is convinced the spell away from the Globe  will have boosted Doyle’s career.

He said: “I have spoken to Chorley manager Gary Flitcroft and he has nothing but praise or Chris.

“It’s been great for him to play every week in a very competitive league and I’m sure he will have benefited from it. It is only by playing regularly that you learn and he has done that. ‘’

Talking about his loan Doyle said: “I really enjoyed it.“Chorley are a great club are very ambitious. It is a very decent standard as well and I have learned a lot.’’

MIDFIELDER Ryan Williams has been allowed to train with Motherwell this week.

The 23-year-old has found first team opportunities limited in recent months and boss Jim Bentley has allowed him to have a look at the Fir Park facilities.

Said Bentley: "Motherwell have asked us to have a look at Ryan and we have agreed to let him train there for a few days.''
