Shrimps to kick off pre season campaign at Kendal Town on Tuesday evening
THE Shrimps travel to Kendal Town on Tuesday evening to kick off their pre season campaign.
Fans will get their first chance to see the club's summer signings in action for the first time as the Shrimps line up against Michael Stringfellow's side.
The game kicks off at 7.30pm with admission just £5 for adults, £2 for concessions and under 16s are free.
Unfortunately the Shrimps will not be playing in their new Carbrini strip as delivery has been halted by the severe tropical storm (Chan Hom) that has hit China.
This has seen all airports placed on lock down for the past few days and the kit has been delayed.
Boss Jim Bentley said: "We have had a couple of weeks in training now and are ready for some competitive action. Most players will get a run out at some stage to get back in the swing of things and we are looking forward to it.''
