MORECAMBE Football Club has this morning announced a special promotion for their League 2 clash with Cambridge on Tuesday, November 24.
Jim Bentley and his team are inviting all local football fans to the Globe Arena for what they believe is the best value for money game to be staged in Sky Bet league 2 this season.
For the price of a programme, £3*, fans have the amazing opportunity to receive a FREE match ticket to the game which kicks off at 7.45pm at the Globe Arena.
All Home fans have to do is go down to the Club Shop at the Globe Arena between 12pm on Thurs 19th Nov & 7pm on Mon 23rd Nov during the opening hours below. Buy a Cambridge programme for £3 and you’ll be offered a HOME area match ticket for the game on Tues 24th November absolutely FREE.
If that's not enough to entice both sets of supporters – and in line with the current theme of “What is the Price of Football?'' Morecambe FC is also running the following promotions throughout the evening.
- A cup of tea or coffee for £1
- A pint or 500ml bottle of lager or bitter for £2
- One of the club's famous pies with peas and gravy for £3
So, as a Morecambe fan, for less than £10 you can watch a Sky Bet League 2 game from the terraces or seating, have a pie, get a half time hot drink and read the award winning match day programme.
Cambridge fans are also being offered the same benefits but must watch the game from the away seating section of the PMG Main Stand.
The club is also extending its extremely popular KIDS GO FREE @ MFC offer so every adult may add up to three Under 14s free on their ticket. This must be done in the club shop on the day of the match, details provided when you buy the programme.
Morecambe FC season ticket holders will receive a FREE match day programme and a voucher for a FREE drink** on the night redeemable at your respective concourse.
Club Shop Opening Hours for the buying of the Cambridge Programme:
Thursday 19th Nov - 12pm – 6pm
Friday 20th Nov - 10am – 6pm
Saturday 21st Nov - 9am – 4pm
Sunday 22nd Nov - 10am – 3pm
Monday 23rd Nov - 12pm – 7pm
People may buy a programme over the phone using a debit card or Credit Card (2% Fee). Your programme and FREE match ticket can then be collected at the Globe Arena on November 24th from the Ticket Office. Programmes can also be posted out (£1.95 p+p) as long as they are ordered and paid for over the phone before 4pm on Friday November 20th.

The promotion closes at 7pm on Monday. Any home or away tickets bought on Tuesday 24th November will be priced as follows:

*programmes must be pre-purchased from the MFC Club Shop for £3 between Thurs 19th & Mon 23rd November. You will then be asked which area you would like your FREE match ticket for.
**The voucher entitles the bearer to a free tea or coffee, pint or 500ml bottle of lager or bitter or a soft drink/bottle of water.
***free U14’s tickets will only be given out on match day from the Club Shop, proof of age maybe required. For seated tickets in PMG Family Block E adults may reserve up to 3 seats adjacent to their own seat when they purchase their programme.
