Shaun Miller wins Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month.
THE Shrimps are delighted to announce that Shaun Miller has won the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month award for October.
Shaun, who has scored seven goals in his last six games, beat off the challenge of Northampton's Nicky Adams, Plymouth's Curtis Nelson and Bristol Rovers striker Matty Taylor to pick up the coveted award.
Boss Jim Bentley, who is a past winner of the award himself as both a player and a manager, said: "Shaun has been fantastic in recent weeks and we are all delighted that he has got the recognition he deserves.
"He is growing in confidence all the time and we are delighted for him.''
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
