Lottery clarification.
A number of concerned fans have made Morecambe Football Club aware of a mailing from Blackpool FC Development Association under the logo of "Goldbond". Our information is that this has been sent to a number of our supporters, without prior consultation or contact, asking that they consider re-joining the "Goldbond" draw.
As of 17th September 2015 and despite numerous requests we are yet to receive an explanation from the senders, both as to their actions in canvassing this way but more importantly the reference to Morecambe Football Club receiving a 'payment', when no such discussions have taken place.
In lieu of any contact from BFCDA, Morecambe Football Club therefore ask all supporters receiving this letter to ignore it.
This mailing has now been handed over to the relevant lottery authorities who will be investigating its content and no further comment will be made by Morecambe Football Club until the investigation is completed.
