O'Hara Return

14 April 2016

Kieran O'Hara set to return for Accrington clash.

KIERAN O'Hara is set to return to the Shrimps' side for this Saturday's derby with Accrington Stanley.

The Manchester United loanee missed the 5-2 defeat to Hartlepool on Saturday after picking up an ankle injury in training after colliding with Aaron McGowan.

His absence meant midfielder Alex Kenyon had to go in goal for the final 15 minutes after Barry Roche picked up his second red card in five games, resulting in a two-game ban.

O’Hara will be ready to go for the Lancashire derby however with academy goalkeeper Niall Maher possibly taking his place on the bench for the first time.

Boss Jim Bentley said: “He got a bad knock in training clashing with Aaron.

“It was towards the end of training on the Friday and he woke up on Saturday and was struggling to walk.

“He’s had a bit of treatment at Manchester United and thankfully he’ll be okay.”

Fellow loanees Luke Conlan, calf, and Cole Stockton, foot, look set to miss out.
