Shrimps' players show their support for a local youngster.

THE Shrimps' players showed their support for a local youngster who recently had his bike stolen.

Camron Dickinson, who had only recently lost his father, was left distraught after his bike was stolen but the Shrimps did their bit to help by making him the guest of honour against Plymouth.

Camron wrote a letter of thanks to the club saying: "To All the staff and players at Morecambe Football club I want to say a massive thank you to you all.

"I have had a bad time with losing my dad and my bike being stolen from my garden then all of a sudden things changed and my favourite team invited me and my family to a amazing VIP day meeting the players and staff.

"I now know how hard everyone works in there and how kind everyone is.

"Lastly I would like to thank all the players and staff for my new bike in Morecambe colours.

"I love it and will look after it. It was really kind and me and my family are so thankful to you all.''
