Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is hoping for a big Shrimps following as his side play their first ever league game against Blackpool on Saturday.
The Seasiders are expected to bring a big crowd with them and Bentley is hoping the home fans match their rivals, who are making their first visit to the Globe on what will be one of their shortest away trips of the season.
Bentley said: “It’s a big game for us without a doubt
“It’s our first home game of the season and it is against a massive club who were in the Premiership only a few years ago.
“We want a big crowd and we want everyone to be behind us and on our side because it is important our young lads are given the chance to show what they can do.
"Both teams come into the game after great midweek wins and will both be high on confidence and it should be a fantastic atmosphere and a special day for us.''
