Shrimps sign Michael Rose on a one year deal.
THE Shrimps have made their third signing of the week with Michael Rose joining on a one year deal.
Rose, who turned 34 last week, has joined the Shrimps after being released by Rochdale and he will bring valuable experience to the squad after playing more than 450 games for clubs including Stockport County, Norwich City, Yeovil Town, Swindon and Colchester.
The former Manchester United trainee can play in midfield or defence and boss Jim Bentley says his experience will be important.
He said: “I have always admired Michael and he was someone I was keen to sign once I knew he had been released.
“We have a young squad overall and his vast experience will be vital for us this season. He is a leader and he can play in a number of positions and he is an excellent addition to our squad.''
