Bamber Bridge 0-3 Morecambe
TWO goals from Cole Stockton helped Morecambe get their pre season off to a winning start with victory over Bamber Bridge.
Stockton scored twice in the second half after Alex Kenyon had put the Shrimps ahead.
Bentley mixed his side up and included a number of trialists in his side as he played two very different teams in both halves of the game.
The first half ended goal less but Kenyon fired the Shrimps ahead before Stockton, signed on loan for a second spell from Tranmere in the summer added two more.
Paul Mullin and Lee Molyneux went close to extending the lead but the Shrimps took the spoils in a good start to the pre season.
The Shrimps now face Bury and Blackburn in an exciting three team tournament at the Globe Arena on Saturday.

2nd half: Winnard, Barkhuizen, Stockton, Hedley, Kenyon and trialists.
