Feedback from the latest meeting held Thursday 12/5/16
At the first well attended meeting on Thursday 21st April 2016 a number of topics were discussed. At the second meeting held last Thursday the following was agreed;
i) The Club would look to change the name of the Globe Arena Bar & Grill and the Club Shop. Potential names were now being sought. A number of suggestions had been made. A submission date of Monday 13th June had been set, this was before the next Fans – Board meeting which was due to be held on 14th June. The preferred names would then be put to the full board for approval.
ii) The Bar & Grill would become the home for MFC memorabilia. A number of items such as pictures and trophy cabinet had been put forward to be included. It was important recognise the history of the Club while maintaining the bar as a venue which could be used for non football events.
iii) There would be some form of bar promotion of discounted drinks / pies to be implemented for the first home game of the season.
iv) A fans bus from Overton / Middleton would be introduced for the first home game of the season.
