Whitmore red card decision upheld.
THE Shrimps have been unsuccessful in their appeal to get Alex Whitmore's red card from Saturday overturned.
The club appealed the card, Whitmore's second of the season, but the referee's decision was today upheld.
The decision means that Whitmore will miss the next four league games but he can play in the Checkatrade Trophy at Scunthorpe on Tuesday 6th December.
