Morecambe Football Club is pleased to announce the date for its Annual Gala Dinner as Saturday 8th July.
This black tie evening offers the club the opportunity to showcase its superb facilities, award winning hospitality and provide guests on the night with access to exclusive sponsorship opportunities.
As well as a lavish four course dinner, provided by the club's in-house chefs and served by its award winning hospitality team, there will be the public reveal of the home and away shirts for the 2017/18 season. Player sponsorships will be auctioned off during the course of the evening, mixed in with live entertainment and DJ playing ‘till late.
The highlight of the evening will be the two Sponsorship Draws, with the star prizes being sponsorship on the back of the 1st team squad shirts and an extra incentive this year with sponsorship of the North Terrace, both for the duration of the 2017/18 season.
Single entries into either draw are £100 per entry (there is no additional vat charge for draw entries).
First team manager Jim Bentley will be in attendance alongside a number of first team players and staff for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
The Gala Dinner is the perfect kick start to the season, a great chance to meet many of the town's local businesses in a social setting and really build up some goodwill in preparation for the new season.
Tickets for the Gala Dinner evening are priced at £35 +vat per person. The club welcomes the opportunity to sell individual tickets to smaller businesses who would be happy to share a table with others. For parties of 10 or more, there is also a “Bonus Draw” to win sponsorship and hospitality places for our pre-season fixtures.
Rod Taylor is be among a number of the club’s directors who will be playing an active role during the evening.
He said: “We have changed the format a little from previous years in order to recognise that there are also many smaller businesses, who play a vital role is helping support the club throughout the season through matchday hospitality, sponsorship and bookings made through our events team, and so we want to create the flexibility for anyone to help play a part in the future of our club.
"We are happy to accept sponsorship draw entries without the need to have to get a table of 10 together for the night. Likewise we are happy to take bookings for those who wish to be involved in the night without having to purchase Sponsorship Draw tickets.”
