Jim Bentley says his side have nothing to lose and everything to gain when they face Barnsley in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Speaking after his side’s opening day victory at home v Cheltenham Town, the Shrimps boss said; “We know we can upset teams in this competition. We’ve been to Barnsley in the past and won, we’ve beaten Blackpool when they were a Championship side, we’ve beaten Rotherham and Wolves in the past too.
“We know we’ll have to be at our best, we know we’ll need a bit of luck but we’ll go there and give it our all and try and get in the hat for the next round.”
