Aaron Wildig has spoken of his delight to be off the mark for the season.
The midfielder scored twice for the Shrimps last season and opened his account for 17/18 in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank.
The strike has received the Sky Bet League 2 Goal of the Week award and the twenty-five-year-old is looking to improve in front of goal.
Wildig said; “Obviously I’ve missed a fair few chances since joining the club but it was great to get off the mark for the season and pleased to see it go in after missing the first chance.
“I need to work on those 1 on 1 chances that I keep missing and I seem to get a few of them so hopefully I can start tucking some of those away.”
