Football Association reject the club's appeal against Peter Murphy's dismissal.
SHRIMPS' skipper Peter Murphy will serve a three match ban after the Football Association rejected the club's appeal against his dismissal in the home game against Barnet on Tuesday night.
Murphy was shown a straight red card by referee David Coote for a 26th minute midfield challenge.
The Shrimps lodged an appeal in the hope of getting the decision overturned but have this afternoon found out that appeal has been unsuccessful.
Murphy will miss the games against Crawley, Newport and Grimsby.
