Bryan Capper

The club was saddened to hear about the death of former player and reserve team manager Bryan Capper recently.

Bryan played more than 200 times for the club between 1957 and 1967, scoring three goals.

The former Everton junior, who joined the Shrimps in August 1957, later became club trainer and was the Reserve team manager between 1966 and 1968. After three years out of football he then became Reserve team trainer at Lancaster City.

Bryan passed away peacefully in RLI on 17th December, the beloved husband of Anne, dad to Andrea, Stephen and Kevin and much loved Grandad to Stephanie, Ryan, James and Kloe.

The funeral service took place on Thursday, January 5 at Morecambe Parish Church.
