Development Centre to restart at alternative training venue.
The Shrimps’ Development Centre will restart next week (w/c 30th January), after arrangements were made for an alternative training venue.
Facilities at Globe Arena have been unavailable since the owners, PMG Leisure Ltd, went into administration.
The Development Centre, which provides coaching for players aged 7 – 16 is a key part of the Club’s youth development strategy and has previously proved to be a pathway for young talent to progress to the Academy and first team.
The Centre will make use of the facilities at Lancaster & Morecambe College.
Head of Youth Stewart Drummond said, “we have worked hard to resolve matters as quickly as possible and I would like to thank parents and staff for their support over this period. We look forward to getting back to training.”
All parents affected have been sent a personal email with full details of the changes.
