Morecambe went down to their third successive pre season defeat when they lost 2-1 to AFC Fylde at Mill Farm.
The Shrimps got off to a poor start and were a goal down after nine minutes.
The veteran full back Nicky Hunt, on trial with the home side, found the Coasters' prolific striker Danny Rowe and he made no mistake with a cool finish to beat Dan Nizic.
The home side continued to attack with Andy Bond coming close to adding a second on 16 minutes when he headed a cross from Zain Francis-Angol against the post.
After a slow start the Shrimps began to threaten with Vadaine Oliver twice going close with headers and the lively Adam Campbell drawing a fine save from Jay Lynch and dragging a late shot wide from a good opening.
Jim Bentley's side started the second half well with Aaron McGowan going close from a tight angle before the home side scored a second on 57 minutes.
James Hardy swung over a right wing corner and Mitchell Lund headed into his own net past the helpless Nizic.
The Shrimps pulled one back on 67 minutes with a well worked goal as Turner headed home Luke Conlan's left wing cross.
Conlan saw a long range shot saved by Lynch before Rowe showed his skill again to force a great block from Nizic with a shot from the edge of the area.
The Shrimps ended the game strongly but could not find a leveller.
