NEW signing Adam Campbell says he can't wait to join up with his new team mates when the players return for pre season training next week.
Campbell, who became the Shrimps' first signing of the summer when he joined on a two year deal after being released by Notts County, says he is looking forward to the new challenge and working with boss Jim Bentley.
The former Newcastle United youngster said: "I met the gaffer and within a few minutes I knew I wanted to work with him.
"Before I met him I had heard a lot of good stories from people I respect and I could quickly see why.
"He really sold the club to me with his passion and ambition and it didn't take me long to decide that Morecambe was the club for me.
"I think I have a style of play that suits him and I can't wait to get started.
"I enjoyed my time at Notts County even though there were some ups and downs with the team not doing as well as most people expected but I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career and really looking forward to meeting the lads next week."
