PAUL Mullin’s superb strike against Orient recently has been nominated for the Sky Bet League 2 goal of the month award.
Mullin is up against Josh Payne of Crawley and Portsmojuth’s Gary Roberts for the award which is won by fans’ votes.
There seemed no danger when Mullin collected a bouncing ball with three defenders around him at Orient. That was until his sweet turn and deliciously curling 25-yard shot that helped the Shrimps win the game.
The shortlist for the poll is decided by a judging panel following suggestions from supporters via Twitter.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports' EFL expert Don Goodman; Sky Bet Sponsorship Manager David Tweed and EFL Head of Marketing Communications Andy Dodd.
