Season Ticket prices frozen again

3 May 2017

Boss Jim Bentley promotes 2017/18 season ticket prices

"We went into the 2016/17 Season with a great deal of optimism, being our 10th Season in the Football League.

"It’s fair to say it turned out to be the toughest one in my time as Manager. Everyone knows that we have the lowest budget in the Football League and the fact that we survived the Season is testament to the hard work put in by everyone here. The Players, Management, Back-Room and Administration Teams have all pulled together and done a fantastic job to ensure that the Fans will enjoy an 11th Season in League 2.

"We are once again delighted to announce that for the fourth consecutive season there will be NO PRICE INCREASE on season tickets or indeed match day prices for the 2017/18 season. Our objective is to ensure all Season Ticket holders receive value for money and to make League Football affordable for families.

An adult purchasing a season ticket in the Omega stand for example, will effectively receive 10 FREE LEAGUE MATCHES.

We recognise that young adults who have just embarked upon the world of work or are studying at college might find it difficult to attend all the matches they would like.

"To help this group of fans we have introduced a NEW CATEGORY for young persons aged 18-22 years who will be offered significant reductions on normal season ticket prices. Please see the enclosed brochure for full details.

"Season ticket holders have become used to the free PLAYER subscription over the last few years. Unfortunately the EFL are in the process of changing the website platform for the Football Club and have withdrawn the ability to offer this service to our fans. This is entirely out of our control.

"I’m really passionate about Morecambe Football Club having been here for 15 years and will be working even harder next season to move us up the table. Almost every season that I’ve been in charge we have had times when we are riding high at the top of the table but also had nervous times as we see the relegation zone approaching. This is all part of being a football fan, taking the lows with the highs, and I hope that you want to be part of this excitement in the 2017/18 season.

"All the information that you need to purchase a 2017/18 Season Ticket can be found in the enclosed brochure.

"The early-bird offer is fantastic value and all fans taking advantage of this will be helping us build our squad for next season.

"Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support of this special club. Let's make sure we all do all we can to make next season a special one.''

Yours sincerely

JB
