LEICESTER PREVIEW

7 November 2017

SHRIMPS’ boss Jim Bentley says he will be going all out for victory when his side face Leicester City Under 21s in the Checkatrade Trophy this evening.

The Morecambe manager is keen to make it two wins from two after his side’s excellent FA Cup victory over Hartlepool on Saturday.

He said: “Saturday was a massive win for the club and I am keen to follow that up against Leicester.

“It is a game we want to win because winning becomes a habit and if we can get another victory that will set us up nicely for the game against Wycombe on Saturday.

“We have to get into the habit of winning games of football again because once you get on a roll you can see the confidence rise in the players.

“There is a totally different mindset in teams that are used to winning and that is where we need to get to.

“Leicester will be a side full of good footballers and it will be a different sort of test for us but we are looking forward to the game.’'
