ALL Shrimps fans are invited to a very special event at the club's next home game on October 7th.
After liaising with the Shrimps' Trust over the summer months the decision was made to rename the Globe Bar to JB's Bar in memory of J B Christie and of course our boss Jim Bentley.
This will take place on the day of the Shrimps' game with Crawley Town on October 7th with music from 1.30pm before the game with popular local entertainer Mark McKenna and a disco from 7pm after the game with Steve Middlesbrough.
As it is international weekend all local football fans who have season tickets for Premiership and Championship sides can get their tickets to watch the game for only £10.
Club Director, Rod Taylor, said: "We asked fans to come up with a name for our bar and there was a resounding vote for JB's to recognised the achievements of J B Christie and Jim Bentley. We are delighted to say that everything is now in place to launch the bar officially on the day of the Crawley game and we hope the event is well supported.''
