Shrimps’ forward Adam McGurk is set to return to the squad for today’s trip to Chesterfield.
The Northern Irishman was substituted on 42 minutes at Stevenage on 23rd September after pulling up with a hamstring injury.
Speaking at Thursday night’s fans forum Jim Bentley confirmed: “Adam’s trained this week and has done well, we expect him to be fit for Saturday."
Meanwhile winger Garry Thompson, who missed last week's game against Crawley, remains a doubt as Bentley revealed: “Thommo planted his foot to go into a sprint last Friday and the turf gave way. He felt something in his groin which ruled him out of the Crawley game.”
