SELECTION HEADACHE

21 September 2017

Jim Bentley will be faced with a difficult team selection for this weekend’s trip to Stevenage. With convincing performances and results last week away at Yeovil Town and at the Globe Arena versus Newport County, Vadaine Oliver’s return from suspension will provide a difficult decision for the Shrimps’ Manager.

After the Shrimps’ final training session before heading south for the trip to Stevenage, Jim Bentley said; “The lads have trained well, there’s a good spirit and coming off the back of two good results we’re hoping to have a successful week starting with Stevenage away.

“The squad’s looking good and there’s healthy competition in all areas of the pitch.

“It’s good to have Vadaine back available for us and he offers something different going forward.

“I’ve been really impressed with Kev, Thommo and McGurk recently, Lang and Campbell have been doing well off the bench and are pushing for starts and now we have Vadaine in the mix too.

“It’s a problem you’re happy to have and one that we’re not often faced with. Having multiple options is great so we’re looking forward to the weekend.”
