ANDY Fleming’s return to first team action will move a step closer next week when he returns to the training ground.
Fleming, who has been out of action since the end of September, said: “The recovery is going quite well and I’m meant to start running next week which is a good sign.
"I’ve been keeping on top of my strength programme with Simon Farnworth and Gareth Thomas and been doing some tests to show things are improving every week.
“This is the biggest injury I’ve had in my career and was a massive blow for me but I have been working hard in the gym and hopefully will be ready to come back sooner than we first thought.
"It’s been hard watching from the sidelines and watchig the games is tough but hopefully I can come back fitter and stronger when the time is right.’'
