THE Shrimps have picked up more accolades for their match day programme.
Earlier in the season the programme was voted as the second best in League 2 to Luton Town by the Midland Programme Club and this week it has been named as the Most Improved Programme in League 2 by the Northern Programme Club and third best in League 2 overall.
It was also one of four clubs to receive a merit award in League 2.
Programme Editor, Derek Quinn, said these were both huge accolades for the club.
He said: “This is a real team effort with fantastic editorial support from people like James and Alan Main, Mark Lewis, Terry Ainsworth, Lawrence Bland, Dave Freear and members of the Shrimps Trust, great covers from Matt Rushton and photos from Mike Williamson, Ian Lyons and Derick Thomas.
“We all work hard to provide the best programme possible with the resources we have and it is great to see that work recognised.
“We are always looking to make improvements and all ideas are always welcome.''
