MORECAMBE V STEVENAGE

11 January 2018

Stevenage travel to the Globe Arena in the Sky Bet League 2 on Saturday off the back of two impressive home victories 4-1 over Cheltenham Town and 5-1 over Chesterfield. The two home victories though were serrated by back-to-back away defeats at Crawley Town (1-0) and Lincoln City (3-0).

Jim Bentley’s side are in good form themselves after back to back victories against Grimsby Town and Yeovil Town last time out at the Globe Arena.

The Shrimps’ back-to-back wins have seen them climb 7 points above the relegation zone to 20th and a win on Saturday would see Jim Bentley’s men to within 2 points of Stevenage who sit 16th.

TEAM NEWS
Morecambe have a fully fit squad going into the weekend. Rhys Turner out on loan (Stockport County) and Elliot Osborne returning to his parent club (Fleetwood Town) the only familiar names that are unavailable.

Godden & Newton are likely to lead the line for Stevenage with Kennedy and Pett provide width on the flanks who play opposite sides coming in onto their stronger feet.
