THE Shrimps have been drawn in Group A alongside Carlisle United and Sunderland in the Checkatrade Trophy.
An under-21 team from either Everton, Leicester City, Manchester City, Middlesbrough, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion or Wolverhampton Wanderers will also be drawn into the group on Wednesday 18 July.
Match dates for the group stages are as follows:
Match 1 - w/c 3 September 2018.
Match 2 - w/c 8 October 2018.
Match 3 - w/c 12 November 2018.
